Arsenal delivered a superb second-half performance to dismantle Manchester City and win 5-1 at the Emirates on Sunday.
The Gunners were ahead inside two minutes after Martin Odegaard capitalised on a mistake to score his first league goal since November.
Kai Havertz squandered a great chance to put Arsenal two goals ahead and it looked like Mikel Arteta’s side might be punished when Erling Haaland levelled for City shortly after the break.
But Arsenal restored their lead just a minute after the restart though Thomas Partey’s deflected strike before Myles Lewis-Skelly added a third shortly after.
Havertz redeemed himself and rubber stamped Arsenal’s victory with a fourth before Ethan Nwaneri’s superb curling effort added a fifth in injury time.

‘It is difficult. I think all of us don’t take losing well. It is hard to put into words straight after a game like that. Pride hurts. Sorry to the fans that have traveled to come and watch that.
‘How we played in the last 30 minutes was not acceptable. Personally and collectively, it’s not us.
‘It is not nice to be involved in that when you know it’s not your team in those situations. Credit to Arsenal, this is not an easy place to come to. For 65 minutes, we played some great football at times.
‘We were in the game and it was a swinging point. It swung the wrong way for us. I am angry, upset personally and collectively about how the game finished.’

‘We have a great connection with everyone and we know each other so well.’
On his own goal:‘It was about time and it was good after as we didn’t stop – we kept on going. We got what we deserved. It was a good one.’
