Fisher, Cullen and Neal all need to contribute all have been invisible lately.
I'd call out Jokinen but he's not going to do anything but drag a line down. I'd love for Beck to replace him on that 3rd line.

There is no reason we shouldn't win this game. The blues are playing on the back end of a back to back. We are playing at home. They are starting a goalie that hasn't played an NHL game since last season. We should be able to outwork them to death.

Cotton Candy
JAM
Okay, guys. See that ^ ?
That is my cue for you guys to WAKE UP and pay attention to the game at hand and for the duration of the game. Get out there and grab two points, preferably in regulation, and with no injuries.
Go Preds!

This sounds entirely too reasonable to actually work.

I feel good about this one. We haven't lost 2 games in a row yet this season. This one is very winnable
I agree that it is past time for a few guys to step it up.

This. Then a loss to the Hawks on Saturday to complete the week's trifecta. Even with some wins of late, we're generally playing down to the level of lower competition. Hopefully they step it up tonight, but I'm not feeling terribly confident about that.

Just for 5h*ts and giggles I pulled up the stats from last year on December 1, 2013 - just to see how much movement there is between playoff and non-playoff teams. Fact is, I get sick of hearing how things are "locking in" now... but, it's pretty true.

Only Phoenix dropped out, replaced by Dallas. The East had a bit more turnover, with Toronto and Washington dropping out, replaced by Philadelphia and a very hot finishing Columbus.
Face the facts... you're gonna see playoff hockey in April this season

I know we are averaging like 1.00000000000065 goals per game right now but I so hope we don't make MarBro look like an all star tonight.

I've taken the liberty of informing the Saint Louis Zoo, the Saint Louis Science Center, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Saint Louis Galleria and Saint Louis University of their mistake.

Very true, but what's funny is... if you google "SAINT LOUIS MISSOURI" all you get are "St. Louis" pages.
And, I was really just talking about the marketing of the sports teams... you don't see any jerseys or references to the full spelling of SAINT on their merch.
(Obviously St. is "Saint"... )
and while we're editing... it's BOURQUE, not BORQUE.

Fun Fact
Preds are 10-1-1 at home for the NHL's best home points percentage even though the power play has gone 1-41 on home ice - via YahooSports NHL twitter

P.S. Why is Bourque in? Why is Roy still out? Just curious why Bourque would replace Cullen. Why is Cullen out? Anyone actually KNOW this stuff?

I think that was just made up. Today's skate was optional. From NP.com
Neither team held an official morning skate, so lines are only projected. Pekka Rinne & Martin Brodeur are expected to start in goal.
Projected Nashville Lines:
Forwards:
Forsberg - Ribeiro - Neal
Wilson - Jarnkrok - Smith
Cullen - Fisher - Jokinen
Nystrom - Gaustad - Beck
Defensemen:
Josi - Weber
Ekholm - Ellis
Volchenkov - Jones
Goaltenders:
Pekka Rinne
Carter Hutton

Technically JW is correct. The Blues were named after the song "Saint Louis Blues" by W. C. Handy.

Saint Louis sucks. St. Louis sucks. Whatever.
Anyway this is the first negative feeling I've had all year really. We'll probably lose and Tarasenko will do some annoying ninja stuff and screw us over, and Brodeur is gonna play really well and make us look like idiots when everyone across the league is tuning in to see him play again.

It'll be worse than that: more like 4-0 or 5-1.
